Skill Level: Beginner
Materials:
-1 1/2 balls of #6 Super Bulky Yarn (I used Lion Brand Wool- Ease Thick and Quick)
-US size 15/10 mm circular 24 inch knitting needles
-Stitch Marker
-Yarn Needle
-Scissors
Abbreviations:
CO- Cast on
K- Knit
P- Purl
BO: Bind Off
St(s)- Stitches
Measurements: 9 inches tall and 14 inches wide laying flat
Pattern:
CO 72 sts- I recommend the long tail cast on
Join, place your st marker, and start working in the round
Rounds 1-2: K2, P2 around
Rounds 3-4: K each stitch around
Rounds 1-4 = 1 group
Repeat rows 1-4 until you have 8 groups
Feel free to add more groups if you want a taller cowl
End with two rows of K2, P2
BO and weave in your ends
*I highly recommend trying a looser bind off like the Russian Bind Off to keep it more stretchy
