Wow it’s been so long since I posted! I have been wanting to post more April and May were just crazy. The kids are both done with school so I hope I can get into some type of blogging groove. I didn’t give the blog a makeover to be wasted and collecting dust!
I wanted to share with you a special Mother’s Day gift I made for my mom. For year I have been getting her flowers for Mother’s Day. They are beautiful and great to have. But, there were some downsides. 1. I don’t live close to her so I always had to have them delivered. This has not always worked well. She one time received flowers that were already dying. 2. They just don’t last forever.
This year I decided to make flowers that would last forever. I saw a really cool pattern from Repeat Crafter Me for crocheted flowers mounted on a canvas and framed. So I made one for my mom!
I gathered most of my supplies from Amazon except the yarn. She has all of the info in her pattern. You can check it out here!
I wanted to choose colors that kind of went with her house decor but I didn’t want it to match perfectly.
What’s cool is the jar is actually a special ziploc bag!
My mom sent me these pictures of the flowers hanging in her house. Her wall color is so pretty and goes perfectly with the flower colors!
I’m so happy she loved her flowers! I think this would be a great gift to make for anyone. Crocheting the flowers, leaves, and stems was fast and easy. The assembly took a little bit longer with some planning. It’s totally worth it! You can make this bigger or smaller too. Again, you can check out the pattern from Repeat Crafter Me here!

Happy Monday folks
