Best Buddies Unite!

The first week in March, one of my best buddies came to visit! We always have so much fun and laugh A LOT. So typical. We act like we are in high school when get together yet we can also have some amazing conversations. Usually over a good cuppa jo. Coffee is our jam

We met in high school when she was a freshman and I was a junior. I won’t tell you the story of how we connected because it’s weird yet funny. It involves popcorn and a guy in a toga. Yeah figure that out…

When she got here she was greeted by the pups. (The grey one is my dad’s)

One of things we really wanted to do was The Fitness Marshall workouts. Man were they fun! We ended up doing them every night for at least an hour. We decided he is the new and improved Richard Simmons.

Katie’s favorite breakfast I make her… Toad in the Holes (And no I did not steal this from The Pioneer Woman or another cook. My mom made these for me when I was a kid!)One afternoon we were able to spend some time downtown. We went to lunch in this cool little place with amazing and fresh food…So artsy…Then we got matching tattoos. Don’t worry, we had this planned. She is smiling but she’s in pain!My turn…

After the tattoos, we walked a little and went to a couple cool clothing stores.

We decided to treat ourselves to a nice dinner that night. We went to an amazing italian place. We ate bread, more bread, and pasta. Yum! Don’t worry, we worked it off with the Fitness Marshall that night.

The next day we took it slow and hung out. Then I got a bright idea to go to the pet store to look at puppies for fun. Because I like to torture ourselves and I have major Puppy Fever. I sent some pictures to my dad, including one of a basset hound. Long story short, my dad wanted the little guy and we got him! When they handed him to me, I melted and almost cried. He was so cute and cuddly!
