I’m excited to show you my progress on this awesome blanket! The squares and pattern for this Crocheted Emoji Graphgan is designed by Sarah at Repeat Crafter Me. She designed 9 squares for the blanket plus an additional 2 for pillows. Check hers out here! She has all of the patterns available.
I decided to make mine with 12 squares so it could be a little bigger. So I used one of her pillow square patterns plus designed two myself. I love the nerdy Emoji and the winking Emoji so I added those little guys to the mix!
Here are the ones I have made so far.
I plan on giving this to my daughter to use for whatever she wants. She likes to make forts and have picnics so this will be perfect. She has had fun picking which square for me to make next.
I love these patterns too because the blanket is a C2C (Corner to Corner) pattern. This was the first time I have tried this technique and it’s a lot of fun! You can either follow the written pattern or a graph.
I can’t wait to finish the rest!

I’m also working on a special blanket that I am getting close to being done with. I can’t share much about it because I want it to be a surprise for a certain someone. {wink} You know who you are…
Thanks for stopping by! If you want to share your WIPs, leave me a link to your blog and I would love to check them out.
Many Blessings,
Mary Jane

How did you manage to weave or join in the different colours of threads. I seem to have a lot of them. Or did you somehow weave them in as you went along

Hi there! Yes I had a lot of ends to weave in as well. I just made sure to weave them in a back and forth motion in the same color stitches as the yarn so you couldn’t see them. Even in the parts where there wasn’t a lot of space. Hang in there! It’s worth it once you have it all done. I do recommend weaving in the ends after each square instead of at the end.
