I would like you to meet “Friendly” the knitted piggy!
This poor guy waited way too long to be finished. Back in January I posted a picture called “Piggy in Progress” where I had the head and body done. Well last week I finally finished the rest of this little fella. My daughter was very patient with me. She was very excited when it was all done!
Can I just add, I am not very good at sewing on little legs on these animals! I ended up sewing them on too far apart on the piggy. He now almost looks like a penguin sliding down some ice on his belly. But you know what? My daughter loves it so that’s all that matters, right?
Here’s Friendly meeting up with some of his knitted and crocheted buddies.
This piggy was so much fun to make! Next I plan on knitting a little elephant for my son. I need to start a collection of knitted toys for him too.

I have lots of patterns for knitted and crocheted animals. I really should make some! Your little piggy is lovely.
