Here are my Work In Progress projects this week…
Hats!
I am trying to think up some new things to add to the Etsy shop for fall and winter. I’ve got a big list of hats to try!
…………………………….
I’m working on the border of the granny stripe blanket, finally. I promise it will be more than a green border.
I will be honest and say these last couple days I have been feeling blah so I haven’t done as much crocheting as I wanted to. So all this progress is from the weekend.
…………………………….
I also have been slowly working on sewing another dress. This one I have been doing completely on my own and it’s been difficult. But I am also learning as I go. I am determined to finish! My hubby asks me if I am even enjoying it when I have struggles. I say yes because I think it’s fun working things out and learning from my mistakes. Patience is very important
Side note: If you’re curious, that is a Fat Head poster behind there on the wall. It’s Aaron Rogers from the Green Bay Packers. We’re big fans. In fact, a lot of our basement is decorated with Packers stuff.
That’s all for now my friends. I can’t wait to show you some finished projects!

The purple in your basket is such a beautiful color!

Yay for hats! Especially hats in Charisma yarn, which is wonderful for hats, so cozy and warm. I have a blue-and-yellow striped kitty ears hat in Charisma that my mom knitted me last winter, and it was wonderful. I really love the purple you're using, and the texture of that pattern looks awesome. 😀
And best of luck with the dress! I struggle with sewing, too, but I'm hoping to get better, uh, someday.

I am back to making hats too, for the cancer center and am still working on my top, I'm so ready for it to be done. Can't wait to see the hats and I am really liking your daugther's blanket! Keep at the sewing, you'll get it. I taught myself to sew and I love it!

I can't wait to see what cute things you come up with to crochet for the coming winter! I've been in kind of a corcheting "funk" lately, probably because I've been spending my free time getting ready for Emma's first birthday party! I am really excited to crochet my first blanket come the fall, though. Looking forward to seeing how yours turns out! 🙂
