I’m sorry I haven’t been blogging much! I haven’t really been doing any fun new projects. I plan on doing more in the future. I have some ideas for new things to add to the shop for the summer. Over the weekend I worked on my friend’s baby blanket, which I am loving! It is so soft and cuddly. I am going to add a couple more rows to make it a little bigger, then it’s on to the border. I’m not positive what I’m going to do yet but I will be using white and green. I can’t wait to see it finished!
I also worked on some orders from the Etsy shop
And practiced knitting cables on my little practice swatch
I am excited because the weather is beautiful here today so I plan on getting outside to take some pictures of Hailey in her little cardigan.
I did also organize my yarn stash as best I could over the weekend. I think I may need to get rid of some of it. It’s just way too much. Yeah it’s nice to have if I want to make a random project, but it just takes up too much space. What is a good way to get rid of yarn? Should I sell it? Give it away?
I hope everyone had a great weekend!

You make such cute stuff. A quilting group at a local church might take a little bit of yarn. Our ladies tie their quilts with stuff that's been donated. They don't need a ton, but it would be worth a shot! Or even a prayer shawl ministry! I hope you have a good day. (PS- I found more yarn in my closet that I cleaned this weekend. It was not good…)

Nursing homes, seniors groups and hospital rehab centres also often take yarn. It helps with therapy and activity for those needing to keep busy, and the knitted lap blankets etc. get used by the elderly. A quick telephone call to your local seniors group, home or hospital might come up with an easy answer. Good luck!

what a pretty blanket! Your cables look amazing! And I agree with the previous comments about where you can take the yarn. I'm sure day cares or preschools could use it too for crafts.
